Overview:

Wellhart is partnering with a hospital in Ohio to staff a locum tenens Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner. This role offers a mix of OR and inpatient work.

Job Details:

• First-assist in surgeries (80-90% of work)

• Perform conduit harvesting using Maquet Vasoview HemoPro 2

• Handle inpatient rounding and consults (10-20% of work)

• Place arterial and venous lines

• Remove chest tubes, pacing wires, IABPs

Requirements:

• Active Ohio APRN license

• Cardiothoracic surgery experience

• Comfort with OR first-assist role
