Job Description

We are seeking a Board Certified Critical Care Physician for a 36-week locum tenens assignment in Kentucky. This opportunity begins on Oct 1, 2025, and involves both in-house shifts from 8 AM to 4 PM and on-call duties from 4 PM to 8 AM. The physician will handle a range of critical care procedures including airway management, central and arterial line placements, and more, ensuring comprehensive patient care in a dynamic setting.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform critical care procedures such as:
  • Airway management
  • Central line placement
  • Arterial line placement
  • Dialysis catheter placement
  • Paracentesis
  • Thoracentesis
  • Bronchoscopy
  • Chest tube insertion
  • Provide high-level care under critical conditions
  • Manage patient care with a team-oriented approach
  • Ensure all procedures adhere to established health guidelines and standards


Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Critical Care Medicine required
  • Must hold a valid Kentucky medical license
  • ACLS certification required
