We are seeking a General Dentist for a locum tenens position at a dental clinic in Missouri. This 13-day assignment begins on May 14, 2025, with potential for extension. The ideal candidate will be comfortable performing a wide range of dental procedures, focusing primarily on extractions and dentures. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, except for Memorial Day. This opportunity offers a chance to work in a clinic setting with on-site lab facilities for same-day services. An active Missouri dental license is required for this position.

Job Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Perform simple and surgical extractions, including alveoplasty and full mouth extractions 

• Manage denture cases, including partial and immediate dentures 

• Develop treatment plans for patients 

• Take impressions for dentures and other dental appliances 

• Conduct denture rebases, repairs, wax try-ins, and soft liners 

• Deliver immediate and partial dentures 

• Utilize on-site lab facilities for same-day services 

• Perform alveoplasty procedures as needed 

• Potentially handle some restorative work (approximately 10% of cases) 

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records 

• Collaborate with dental assistants and lab technicians 

• Ensure patient comfort and satisfaction throughout procedures
