Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Family Practice Physician for a locum tenens position at a Multi-Specialty Clinic in Kansas. This 42-day assignment starts on 06/02/2025, and involves 24-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 AM. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a clinic setting, providing comprehensive care for OB/GYN patients, including new and established obstetrics, gynecology issues, and surgical consultations. The physician will also participate in non-emergent surgical procedures twice a week. This role requires the ability to manage a diverse patient population, perform surgical procedures, and provide round-the-clock care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:
• Provide comprehensive care for OB/GYN patients in a clinic setting
• Manage new and established obstetrics cases
• Address new gynecology issues and perform surgical consultations
• Participate in non-emergent surgical procedures twice a week
• Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using Epic system
• Adhere to all clinic policies, procedures, and safety protocols
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives as required
Additional Information:
• Must be licensed to practice in Kansas
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system preferred
• Comfortable working 24-hour shifts and managing a diverse patient population
• Strong clinical and surgical skills in OB/GYN care
• Flexibility to work extended hours and participate in surgical blocks
