We are seeking a skilled Family Practice Physician for a locum tenens position at a healthcare facility in Oklahoma. This opportunity offers weekday shifts from 8am to 5pm, starting from 06/02/2025, for a 248-day coverage period. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing primary care cases, including chronic and acute illnesses, as well as urgent care scenarios. Responsibilities include treating minor injuries, respiratory illnesses, and performing minor procedures such as splinting and suturing. This role utilizes the RPMS system and offers potential for assignment extension.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm

Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Provide comprehensive primary care for chronic and acute illnesses 

• Manage urgent care cases including minor injuries and respiratory illnesses 

• Perform minor procedures such as splinting and suturing 

• Examine, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients 

• Handle cases involving COVID-19, cold, flu, bruises, concussions, scrapes, minor wounds, and fractures 

• Make appropriate referrals to other healthcare providers when necessary 

• Utilize RPMS system for patient documentation 

• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care 

• Adhere to facility guidelines and protocols
