We are seeking a Family Practice Physician for a locum tenens assignment in Virginia. This role is ideal for an individual certified in Family Medicine, looking to manage a variety of cases including adult outpatient care, newborn care, and minor surgical procedures. The assignment will utilize the Epic EMR system, ensuring streamlined operations and integrated patient care.
Conduct adult outpatient care without ICU/CCU involvement.
Manage newborn care for infants over 2000 grams.
Perform gynecological procedures including pelvic exams and Pap smears.
Handle minor surgical duties such as suturing of minor lacerations and incision & drainage.
Provide psychiatric care for uncomplicated adult cases, with behavioral health support available on-site.
Additional Information
Board Certification in Family Medicine required.
Active Virginia medical license required.
BLS certification mandatory.
ACLS and DEA certifications are prerequisites.
