Wellhart is partnering with a Hospital in Iowa to place a locum tenens Gastroenterologist for a 30-day assignment starting May 5, 2025. The position requires 24-hour on-call shifts (7am to 7am), with the provider being available via beeper while offsite. The gastroenterologist will be responsible for both inpatient and outpatient procedures, consultations, and on-call duties.

• Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 3 years of Residency)
• Active Iowa medical license or IMLC
• ACLS certification
• ERCP competency

• Willingness to work inpatient
Responsibilities:
• Perform 3-4 outpatient procedures per day
• Conduct inpatient procedures and consultations
• Handle 24-hour on-call duties (offsite with beeper)
• Perform ERCP procedures
• Conduct EUS procedures (if qualified)
