Job Responsibilities and Duties:
• Provide 24/7 hematology and oncology coverage for the hospital
• Conduct consultations as needed
• Manage all aspects of oncologic clinical care
• Perform patient evaluations and develop treatment plans
• Administer and monitor chemotherapy and other cancer treatments
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care
• Utilize Cerner electronic health record system for documentation
• Ensure high-quality patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Stay updated on the latest oncology treatments and best practices
• Participate in tumor boards and other cancer-related meetings as required
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures
