Job Description

 We are seeking a skilled Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician for a locum tenens position at a Hospital in Ohio. This 60-day assignment starts on 06/23/2025, with a schedule of 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM daily for office/clinic work, hospital rounding, and overnight consultative call from Friday 5 PM to the following Friday 5 PM. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing various high-risk pregnancy conditions, including genetic disorders, pre-eclampsia, multiple pregnancies, growth restriction, chromosomal and congenital abnormalities, pre-term labor, hypertension, thrombophilia, and birth defects. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to provide essential maternal-fetal care while enjoying the flexibility of a locum tenens assignment with potential for extension or permanent placement.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide comprehensive maternal-fetal medicine care in both office/clinic and hospital settings

• Manage high-risk pregnancies and associated complications

• Conduct patient consultations, examinations, and follow-ups

• Perform and interpret specialized prenatal diagnostic procedures

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care

• Participate in hospital rounds and provide overnight consultative call coverage

• Handle an average of 15 scheduled patients per day

• Maintain clear communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members

• Adapt to varying patient needs and acuity levels

• Stay current with the latest developments in maternal-fetal medicine
