 We are seeking a skilled Medical Physicist for a locum tenens position in Florida. This 26-day assignment starts on 07/28/2025 and requires coverage from 8am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday, providing as-needed backup during clinic hours. The ideal candidate will have expertise in QA procedures, Varian Linear Accelerators (TrueBeam and Trilogy), Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT), and Eclipse treatment planning system. The role involves designing, optimizing, and technically evaluating radiation treatment plans, as well as ensuring precise and accurate radiation dose delivery. This opportunity offers the potential for extension and requires licensure in any state.

Job Details:

LOA: 26 days (with potential for extension)

Provider Type Needed: Medical Physicist

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm (as-needed backup coverage)

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform QA procedures following TG-142 standards
• Work with Varian Linear Accelerators: TrueBeam and Trilogy
• Conduct Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT), including Cone Beam CT
• Utilize Eclipse treatment planning system and ARIA record & verify 4.4.1
• Design, optimize, and technically evaluate radiation treatment plans
• Ensure precise and accurate radiation dose delivery
• Provide backup coverage during clinic hours as needed

• Must be comfortable with CPRS
• Licensure required in any state
