Job Description

We are seeking a Neurosurgeon for a 12-month locum tenens assignment in South Carolina, starting Aug 1, 2025. The role focuses on neurosurgical ED consultations for trauma, requiring coverage for 4 days per month. This position is an excellent opportunity to engage in a specialized practice setting, leveraging advanced surgical interventions and patient care techniques.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide emergency department consultations for neurosurgical trauma cases
  • Perform surgical interventions as required
  • Work in collaboration with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Maintain detailed patient records using the eClinicalWorks EMR system


Additional Information

  • Must be board certified in Neurological Surgery and Vascular Neurology
  • Valid SC medical license required
  • Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification necessary
