We are seeking a Psychiatrist for a locum tenens assignment in Iowa, starting Aug 4, 2025, and ending Nov 30, 2025. This role involves supervising advanced practice providers and rounding on adult and adolescent units. The position requires board certification in Psychiatry, with shifts primarily during the day and on-call duties every third day.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Supervise advanced practice providers, including review and co-signing of orders and documentation
• Round on an adult unit
• Round on an adolescent unit (ages 8-17)
• Provide on-call coverage every third day during clinic hours (8a-5p)
• Consult on various medical units while on call

Additional Information

• Must be board certified or eligible in Psychiatry
• Fellowship training in Psychiatry required
• Current Iowa medical license or IMLC required
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR system
