Responsibilities and Duties
Perform low/moderate risk procedures such as laceration repair, IV access/IV insertion-peripheral line, and fracture and dislocation reductions
Conduct high-risk procedures including G-tube placement, endotracheal intubation, cardioversion/defibrillation, LMA, paracentesis, chest tubes, central and arterial line placement
Ensure adherence to all safety and health regulations
Maintain accurate patient records using the Cerner EMR system
Additional Information
Must have an active California license with CA DEA and CA NP furnishing number
NCCPA or ANCC certification required
ACLS, ATLS certifications must be current; ATLS required at submission
Preference for candidates currently working in a TJC-accredited hospital
