 Wellhart is seeking an experienced Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens position in Colorado. This 24-day assignment starts on 09/01/2025 and requires coverage for varying hours throughout the week, including weekends. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a typical Urgent Care setting, capable of performing procedures such as laceration closure and incision and drainage, interpreting X-rays and EKGs, and handling Work Comp cases. DOT certification is a plus. This opportunity offers a chance for extension and requires licensure in Colorado. The provider will be working with the Practice Velocity system in an Urgent Care facility.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Provide comprehensive urgent care services

Perform laceration closures and incision and drainage procedures

Interpret X-rays and EKGs

Handle Work Comp cases

Manage typical urgent care patient load and conditions

Utilize Practice Velocity electronic health record system

Additional Information:
