Job Description

 We are seeking a skilled Physician specializing in Vascular/Interventional Radiology for a locum tenens position in Florida. This 30-day assignment is spread across multiple weeks from July to December 2025, with coverage needed Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with a full set of IR skills, handling 6-12 cases daily, including GI bleed embolizations, IVC filters, temporary and permanent HD catheters, chemo ports, and central vein catheters. The role requires expertise in various interventional procedures, with minimal angiography and typically no TIPS procedures. This opportunity offers the potential for extension beyond the initial assignment period.


Job Details:

Location: Florida

Start Date: 07/07/2025

LOA: 30 days (spread across multiple weeks)

Provider Type Needed: Physician specializing in Vascular/Interventional Radiology

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM


Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform a wide range of interventional radiology procedures

• Handle 6-12 cases daily with efficiency and expertise

• Conduct GI bleed embolizations and IVC filter placements

• Insert temporary and permanent HD catheters

• Place chemo ports and central vein catheters

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams

• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records

• Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and safety protocols

• Stay current with the latest advancements in interventional radiology

• Must be licensed to practice in Florida

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Comfortable with a high-volume caseload
