Job Responsibilities and Duties:
• Provide comprehensive women's health care to a Native American population
• Manage a patient load of at least 20 per eight-hour workday
• Examine, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients
• Refer patients to other Indian Health Service providers and Purchase Referred Care vendors within IHS guidelines
• Proficiently document patient encounters using the electronic medical record system
• Complete all required administrative paperwork within 24 hours of patient visits
• Comply with The Joint Commission (TJC) standards and administrative policies
• Provide consultation to the Hospital Emergency Department as needed
• Staff urgent care clinic when required
• Address a full range of women's and adolescent health issues
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
