Job Responsibilities and Duties:
• Provide emergency medical care for a wide range of conditions and injuries
• Perform rapid assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of acute illnesses and injuries
• Conduct intubations and other emergency procedures as needed
• Manage critical care patients and coordinate admissions when necessary
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab work and imaging studies
• Prescribe medications and treatments as appropriate
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using the Meditech EHR system
• Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures
• Provide patient and family education on medical conditions and treatment plans
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the emergency department
Additional Information:
• Must be board-certified/board-eligible in Emergency Medicine
• Active California medical license required
• Proficiency in emergency procedures, including intubation
• Experience with Meditech EHR system preferred
