Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CRNA for a locum tenens position at a Multi-Specialty Clinic in Iowa. This 24-day assignment starts on 06/02/2025, and offers flexible scheduling with 4-8 shifts per month. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with various cosmetic surgeries, including breast augmentation, breast reduction, face lifts, abdominoplasty, and blepharoplasty. The CRNA will work primarily on Wednesdays and Thursdays, with surgery days varying. Shifts typically run from 7 AM to 4 PM, with clinic hours from 8 AM to 5 PM. The role involves providing high-quality anesthesia care for cosmetic procedures and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Provider Type Needed: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) 

Schedule: 4-8 shifts per month, primarily Wednesdays and Thursdays, 7 AM - 4 PM

Job Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Administer anesthesia for various cosmetic surgical procedures 

• Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and develop appropriate anesthesia plans 

• Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia as needed during procedures 

• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and comfort 

• Provide post-anesthesia care and monitor patients' recovery 

• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records 

• Adhere to all clinic policies, procedures, and safety protocols 

Additional Information: 

• Must be licensed to practice in Iowa 

• Experience with Cerner electronic health record system preferred 

• Comfortable working in a multi-specialty clinic setting  

• Possibility of assignment extension
