Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CRNA for a locum tenens position in Florida. This 37-day assignment starts on 04/07/2025, and involves various shifts from 7 AM to 5 PM on specific dates in April, May, and June. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a CRNA-only model, covering 2-3 rooms focusing on eye procedures (including cataracts and plastics) and urology cases. The CRNA will be responsible for providing high-quality anesthesia care, collaborating with the surgical team, and ensuring patient safety throughout procedures.

Job Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Provide anesthesia care for eye procedures and urology cases 

• Perform pre-anesthetic assessments and develop anesthesia plans 

• Administer and monitor anesthesia during surgical procedures 

• Manage patient recovery from anesthesia 

• Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals 

• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative period 

• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using paper charting 

• Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and safety protocols 

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives as required 

• Cover 2-3 operating rooms as needed

Additional Information: 

• Must be licensed to practice as a CRNA in Florida 

• Comfortable with paper charting system 

• Strong clinical skills in ophthalmological and urological anesthesia 

• Ability to work independently in a CRNA-only model 

• Flexibility to work on various dates as specified 

• Possibility of assignment extension
