Wellhart is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum tenens position at a hospital in Massachusetts. This 36-day assignment begins on 06/23/2025, with potential for extension. The schedule primarily covers weekends, evenings, and overnights, with the possibility of working between two locations. Job Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Provide emergency medical care to patients in a Trauma center 

• Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of emergency conditions 

• Manage critical care situations and trauma cases 

• Collaborate with on-call physicians and adhere to 30-minute response time 

• Coordinate patient admissions and transfers as necessary 

• Utilize Meditech EHR system for accurate and timely documentation 

• Supervise and work alongside nursing staff and other healthcare professionals 

• Maintain a high standard of patient care in a high-volume emergency department 

• Adapt to working in multiple locations if required 

Additional Information: 

• Experience in Trauma centers preferred 

• Comfort with high patient volumes

• Familiarity with Meditech EMR system is beneficial 

• Massachusetts state medical license required 

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and overnights 

• Ability to respond to on-call situations within 30 minutes
