Wellhart is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens position at a hospital in Texas. This 96-day assignment begins on 07/07/2025, with a potential for extension. The CRNA will handle ANE for various cases including General, Ortho, Endo/Gastric, Urology, Vascular, Neuro/Spine, Gynecology, and ENT procedures. Job Responsibilities and Duties:
• Provide anesthesia care for a variety of surgical procedures
• Manage patient care before, during, and after surgery
• Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative period
• Administer and monitor anesthesia during surgical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthetic assessments and develop anesthesia plans
• Monitor vital signs and adjust anesthesia as needed during procedures
• Manage post-anesthesia recovery and address any complications
Additional Information:
• Experience with general anesthesia required
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health record system preferred
• Texas state license required
• Comfortable with various surgical specialties including General, Ortho, Endo/Gastric, Urology, Vascular, Neuro/Spine, Gynecology, and ENT
• Blocks, spinals, and epidurals are not required for this position
