Wellhart is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens position at a hospital in Michigan. This 10-day assignment begins on 06/02/2025, with a potential for extension. Job Responsibilities and Duties:
• Administer and monitor anesthesia during surgical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthetic assessments and develop anesthesia plans
• Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative period
• Manage patient care before, during, and after surgery
• Monitor vital signs and adjust anesthesia as needed during procedures
• Participate in on-call rotations
• Utilize Epic electronic health record system and Dragon dictation software
• Handle cases in Endoscopy, General Surgery, OB/GYN, Orthopedics, and Urology
• Manage predominantly outpatient cases with some inpatient procedures
Additional Information:
• Experience with regional blocks preferred but not required
• Comfortable with both outpatient (95%) and inpatient (5%) procedures
• No cardiac or neurosurgery cases
• Familiarity with Epic EMR and Dragon dictation software preferred
• Michigan state license required
