Job Description

Wellhart is seeking a CRNA for a locum tenens position at a hospital in Texas. This 120-day assignment begins on 07/07/2025, with potential for extension. The role involves 10 hour shifts (7a - 5p) for 4 days per week. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with ANE for a wide range of surgical cases including general, orthopedic, endoscopic/gastric, urological, vascular, neurosurgical/spine, gynecological, and ENT procedures. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment using the Epic EMR system, providing comprehensive anesthesia care to patients.

Schedule: 10 hour shifts (7 am - 5 pm) for 4 days per week

Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Provide anesthesia care for a variety of surgical procedures 

• Perform pre-anesthetic evaluations and develop anesthesia plans 

• Administer and monitor anesthesia during surgeries 

• Manage post-operative pain and recovery 

• Collaborate with surgical teams across various specialties 

• Utilize the Epic system for efficient workflow management 

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all procedures and patient interactions 

• Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols 

• Ensure high-quality patient care and safety throughout the perioperative period 

• Demonstrate flexibility with the rotating day-off schedule 

• Participate in team meetings and care coordination as needed

Additional Information: 

• Must be licensed to practice as a CRNA in Texas 

• Familiarity with Epic system is preferred 

• Strong adaptability to new work environments and team dynamics 

• Excellent communication skills and commitment to high-quality patient care 

• Experience in a wide range of surgical specialties is highly desirable 

• Blocks, spinals, and epidurals are not required for this position
