Job Description
We are seeking a skilled General Diagnostic Radiologist for a locum tenens position at a hospital in North Carolina. This 94-day assignment begins on 08/24/2025, with a night shift schedule from 11 pm to 7 am. The ideal candidate will be proficient in interpreting a high volume of CT, X-ray, MRI, US, PET, and Nuclear imaging studies for both inpatient and outpatient cases. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a Radiologist looking for a challenging night shift position with a chance for extension.

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Interpret a high volume of diagnostic imaging studies, including:
- CT scans (95 per shift, mix of ED/IP and OP)
- X-rays (160 per shift, mix of ED/IP and OP)
- MRI scans (35 per shift, mix of ED/IP and OP)
- Ultrasound studies (38 per shift, mix of ED/IP and OP)
- PET and Nuclear imaging (10 per shift, no stress tests)
- Provide timely and accurate readings for emergency, inpatient, and outpatient cases
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- Utilize Epic electronic medical record system
- Maintain high standards of diagnostic accuracy and patient safety
