Wellhart is seeking a Nurse Practitioner - Hospitalist for a locum tenens assignment in Tennessee. This 9-day coverage opportunity begins on 05/06/2025, and includes a mix of day and night shifts at a community hospital. The NP will work in various hospital settings, including the Emergency Department, ICU, and inpatient floors. Responsibilities include floor management, co-managed admissions, and observational care for a 10-patient panel. This role does not involve procedures and offers the potential for extension. The ideal candidate should also be comfortable with Epic EMR and hold an active Tennessee state license.

Job Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Provide hospitalist care in various settings, including Emergency Department, ICU, and inpatient floors 

• Manage a 10-patient panel 

• Participate in co-managed admissions (1-2 per shift) 

• Conduct floor management and observational care 

• Collaborate with physicians and other APPs during day shifts 

• Utilize Epic EMR system for patient documentation and management
