Another locum job has arrived! Our client is looking for a Critical Care Medicine NP to begin coverage in Tennessee. This opportunity begins on June 2, 2025, and spans 36 days with potential for extension. The position involves working 12-hour shifts, either days or nights depending on local needs. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in critical care settings and proficient in performing special procedures typical for ICU coverage, including central lines, arterial lines, and intubation.

Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Provide comprehensive critical care services in an ICU setting 

• Perform special procedures including central lines, arterial lines, and intubation 

• Assess, diagnose, and treat critically ill patients 

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care 

• Monitor and interpret patient data and diagnostic tests 

• Develop and implement treatment plans 

• Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies and changing patient conditions 

• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records 

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

Additional Information: 

• Tennessee Nurse Practitioner license required for this position 

• Proficiency in ICU procedures is essential
