Responsibilities and Duties:
• Perform pre-operative physical examinations
• Conduct suture removal and wound care
• Diagnose and treat illnesses related to cardiothoracic conditions
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Assist in cardiothoracic surgeries
• Write prescriptions and manage medications
• Coordinate patient care with the healthcare team
• Perform patient rounding
• Insert chest tubes as needed
• Conduct endoscopic vein harvesting and radial harvest
• Perform endoscopic retrieval procedures
• Manage on-call responsibilities and respond to emergencies
Additional Information:
• Pennsylvania Physician Assistant license required for this position
• Proficiency in endoscopic vein harvesting and radial harvest is essential
