Job Responsibilities and Duties:
• Interpret CT scans, ultrasounds, X-rays, and mammograms
• Perform light interventional radiology procedures
• Conduct breast procedures including needle localizations
• Perform paracentesis and thoracentesis procedures
• Complete approximately 70 RVUs per day in diagnostic reads
• Perform about 3 procedures per day (light IR and breast procedures)
• Provide accurate and timely interpretation of diagnostic imaging studies
• Collaborate with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Ensure adherence to radiation safety protocols and quality standards
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using Novarad system
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as required
• Stay current with the latest radiology techniques and practices
Additional Information:
• Florida state medical license required
• Mammography reading skills required
• No MRI reading required
• Comfortable with general fluoroscopy, myelograms, and joint injections
• Ability to adapt to existing workflow and collaborate with staff
