 Wellhart is seeking a board-certified Emergency Medicine Physician for a 36-day locum tenens assignment at a Hospital in Missouri. The ideal candidate will be available to start on 09/01/2025, working various shifts including 6am-4pm, 9am-7pm, 12pm-10pm, 3pm-1am, 7pm-5am, and 9pm-7am. This position requires expertise in handling Free-Standing Emergency Department (FSED) cases. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality emergency medical care, managing a diverse range of acute conditions, and collaborating with the hospital's healthcare team. There is potential for assignment extension.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients

• Manage and treat a wide range of acute medical conditions

• Perform emergency procedures and interventions as needed

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams

• Maintain accurate and timely medical records

• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures

• Ensure patient satisfaction through excellent communication and care

• Handle FSED emergency medicine cases efficiently

• Prioritize and manage multiple patients in a fast-paced environment

• Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging results

• Coordinate patient admissions or transfers when necessary

• Provide clear discharge instructions and follow-up recommendations

Additional Information:

• Valid Missouri medical license required

• Board certification in Emergency Medicine

• Experience in FSED settings preferred

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
