    Wellhart Government Staffing Contract FAQs

  • What is the VA Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) Program?

    • The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) Program awards contracts to vetted private contractors to support and streamline the acquisition of staff, medical equipment, pharmaceuticals, and other supplies for federal agencies.

Companies, such as Wellhart, who obtain a schedule contract under the VA FSS Program get placed in a database for federal agencies to choose from to provide state-of-the-art services and products at firm-fixed prices.

  • What’s the difference between an VA FSS contract and a GSA contract?

    • In practice, these two contracts work the same way—the only difference is that the Department of Veterans Affairs is delegated authority by the General Services Administration (GSA) to manage its own schedule contracts through the FSS program.

  • What award schedule programs does the VA FSS Program manage?

    • The VA FSS Program manages nine award schedule programs:

      • 65 I B: Drugs, Pharmaceuticals, & Hematology Related Products
      • 65 II A: Medical Equipment & Supplies
      • 65 II F: Patient Mobility Devices
