Job Description

 Wellhart is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens position in Florida. This flexible assignment offers shifts on an as-needed basis, starting from 45810, with potential for extension. The CRNA will primarily work in a supervisory capacity but should be willing to handle cases when necessary. Shifts include weekday hours from 7 AM to 5 PM, weekday night call from 7 PM to 7 AM, and weekend call from 7 AM to 7 AM. The role involves providing anesthesia care at a hospital setting, with responsibilities including patient assessment, anesthesia administration, and post-operative monitoring. Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and develop appropriate anesthesia plans

• Administer and monitor anesthesia during surgical procedures

• Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management

• Supervise and guide other anesthesia team members

• Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals

• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative period

• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records

• Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives

• Stay current with the latest anesthesia techniques and practices


Additional Information:

• Florida state license required

• Familiarity with Medaxion system preferred

• Site directors will conduct phone interviews with potential candidates
