Job Description

Wellhart is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens position in Florida. This 120-day assignment begins on June 2, 2025, at a hospital setting. The CRNA will work flexible schedules, including 5x8, 4x10, 3x12, or 2x12 plus 2x8 hour shifts, with non-consecutive days possible. The role involves providing anesthesia care for a wide range of procedures across multiple hospital campuses, including neuro, vascular, general, endoscopic, cath/IR, head and neck, orthopedic, and urological cases. The ideal candidate should be adaptable to various surgical specialties and comfortable working in different hospital environments.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide anesthesia care for a diverse range of surgical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthetic assessments and develop anesthesia care plans
• Administer and monitor anesthesia during various surgical cases
• Manage patient care in post-anesthesia recovery
• Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals across multiple specialties
• Ensure proper documentation using Epic electronic medical record system
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Adhere to hospital protocols and best practices in anesthesiology
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives as needed
• Maintain flexibility to work at different hospital campuses as required
• Stay current with advancements in anesthesia techniques for various specialties

Additional Information:

• Must be licensed to practice as a CRNA in Florida
• Proficiency in Epic electronic medical record system required
• Experience in diverse surgical specialties preferred
• Strong clinical skills and decision-making abilities essential
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to adapt to different hospital environments and surgical teams
• Willingness to work flexible schedules and potentially non-consecutive days
