Job Description

 Wellhart is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens position at a multi-specialty clinic in Maine. This 6-month assignment begins on 08/04/2025, with a potential for extension. The schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts per week, plus one 24-hour on-call shift. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced inpatient environment, handling a variety of case types including OB, cath labs, healthy pediatric, ENT, and occasional orthopedic procedures. Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide high-quality anesthesia care in an inpatient setting

• Handle a variety of case types, including OB, cath labs, healthy pediatric, and ENT procedures

• Assist with approximately 500+ deliveries per year

• Participate in on-call rotations, being available within a 1-hour driving distance

• Work under the supervision of an Anesthesiologist

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care

• Utilize Cerner EHR system for patient documentation and management

• Adhere to clinic policies and procedures

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of anesthesia best practices and advancements

• Adapt to a fast-paced environment with quick case turnovers


Additional Information:

• Must be licensed to practice as a CRNA in the state of Maine

• Experience with Cerner EHR is preferred

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment

• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential

• Flexibility to work varying shifts as scheduled

• Comfortable with managing diverse case types in an inpatient setting
