Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a 30-day locum tenens assignment in Michigan. This role demands proficiency in administering anesthesia and managing patient care for various procedures including general surgical cases, obstetrics, and neurosurgery, among others. The ideal candidate will be part of a dynamic team, covering non-invasive cardiology, OB, endoscopy, and radiology services.


Job Details

  • Location: Michigan
  • Start Date: Jul 13, 2025
  • LOA: 30 days
  • Provider Type Needed: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
  • Schedule: 8 to 10 hour day shifts, with on-call and weekend shifts once every 1-2 months


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Cover out-of-department services such as non-invasive cardiology, OB, endoscopy, and radiology.
  • Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer general, regional, or monitored anesthesia care.
  • Monitor patients during procedures and manage any complications arising from anesthesia.
  • Provide comprehensive post-anesthesia care and pain management.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.


Additional procedures may include arterial line insertion, IV insertions, and floor intubations.


Additional Information

  • Required: Board Certification in Anesthesiology; Active MI license; BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications; Clean background
  • Strong preference for candidates with experience in general surgical cases (adult), obstetrical cases, and neurosurgical cases.
