We are seeking a skilled CRNA for a locum tenens position at a Hospital in Nebraska. This 10-day assignment is split between June 2-6 and July 14-18, 2023, with weekday shifts from 6:30 AM to 3 PM. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with a variety of cases, primarily orthopedic (total joint, hands, foot), endoscopy, and urology, with occasional pediatric, dental, and spine cases. The CRNA must be experienced in regional anesthesia and nerve blocks, and able to work independently. Job Responsibilities and Duties:
• Provide anesthesia care for a variety of surgical procedures
• Perform regional anesthesia and nerve blocks
• Manage anesthesia for orthopedic, endoscopy, and urology cases
• Handle occasional pediatric, dental, and spine cases
• Provide anesthesia care for OB cases coming from the ER
• Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and develop anesthesia plans
• Monitor patients during procedures and manage post-anesthesia care
• Work independently and collaborate with surgical teams
• Maintain accurate medical records using Meditech EHR and paper charting
• Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives as required
Additional Information:
