This 36-day assignment starts on 07/01/2025, with a schedule of Monday through Friday plus weekends, approximately 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Responsibilities and Duties:
• Provide anesthesia services for a variety of adult general surgical cases
• Manage patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthetic assessments and develop anesthesia care plans
• Administer and monitor anesthesia during surgical procedures
• Manage ventilation and airway maintenance
• Monitor vital signs and adjust anesthesia as needed
• Participate in post-operative pain management
• Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
• Utilize Epic electronic health record system for documentation
• Adapt to varying patient loads and acuity levels
• Maintain clear communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Additional Information:
• Must be licensed to practice in South Carolina
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Experience with a wide range of general surgical cases, especially GI procedures
• No cardiac, neurosurgery, or obstetric cases required
• No regional anesthesia or central line placement needed
