This 120-day assignment, starting 08/04/2025, offers the opportunity to work in a hospital setting, providing anesthesia care for a variety of cases including Orthopedics, Urology, General Surgery, Gastroenterology, and Gynecology under medical direction. The schedule consists of 4 non-consecutive 10-hour shifts per week, with a minimum commitment of 3 weeks. Responsibilities and Duties:
• Provide anesthesia care for patients undergoing various surgical procedures
• Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and develop appropriate anesthesia plans
• Administer and monitor anesthesia during procedures
• Manage patient recovery and post-anesthesia care
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using Cerner/Medaxion systems
• Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures
• Stay current with the latest advancements in anesthesiology
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Educate patients and families about anesthesia procedures and risks
Additional Information:
• Must be a licensed Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
• Active Texas medical license required
• Experience with Cerner and Medaxion EMR systems preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
