Job Description

We are currently seeking an Anesthesiologist for a 36-week locum tenens assignment in North Carolina, starting Sep 1, 2025. This role focuses on cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgery, including TAVR, CABG, and MitraClip procedures. The schedule offers 10-12 hour shifts from Monday to Friday, with no call and no weekend duties.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide anesthesia care for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgeries
  • Manage anesthesia services for TAVR, CABG, and MitraClip procedures
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after surgeries
  • Collaborate with surgical teams and other medical professionals to optimize patient outcomes


Additional Information

  • Must have at least 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Required to hold a current North Carolina medical license
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Anesthesiology
  • Must have certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Familiarity with Cerner EMR systems
