Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist for a 42-day locum tenens assignment at a multi-specialty clinic in Pennsylvania. The assignment begins on 07/07/2025, with a primary schedule of Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM. The role involves providing comprehensive anesthesia care for a diverse range of cases, including general surgery, GI, basic pediatrics, neurology, OB/GYN, trauma, orthopedics, and urology. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with both supervising and hands-on care in a facility with several ORs and anesthetizing locations. Overnight and weekend call shifts are also available.

Provider Type Needed: Anesthesiologist 

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM (with potential for later shifts until 5:30 PM or 7:30 PM)

Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Provide anesthesia care for a wide range of surgical procedures 

• Manage patient care in pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases 

• Collaborate with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals 

• Supervise and provide hands-on care as needed 

• Participate in overnight and weekend call shifts as required 

• Adapt to various subspecialty areas within anesthesiology 

• Utilize Cerner EMR system

Additional Information: 

• Must be licensed to practice in Pennsylvania 

• Experience with trauma cases preferred 

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with several ORs and multiple anesthetizing locations 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team 

• Potential for assignment extension
