Wellhart is seeking an experienced Anesthesiologist for a 24-day locum tenens assignment at a Multi-Specialty Clinic in Virginia. The assignment begins on 06/01/2025, with a Monday to Friday schedule from 7 am to 5 pm. The ideal candidate should be comfortable providing anesthesia services for various specialties, including Gastroenterology, Ophthalmology, General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, and Pediatrics. This role offers the opportunity to work in a diverse clinical setting, utilizing paper charts for documentation. There is potential for extension beyond the initial assignment period.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide anesthesia services for various surgical specialties

• Perform pre-operative assessments and develop anesthesia plans

• Administer and monitor anesthesia during procedures

• Manage post-operative pain and recovery

• Collaborate with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals

• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative period

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using paper charts

• Adapt to the needs of different surgical specialties, including pediatric cases

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to clinical protocols
