 Wellhart is seeking a licensed Cardiac Anesthesiologist for a 50-day locum tenens assignment at a Multi-Specialty Clinic in Nebraska. Starting 06/02/2025, this role requires expertise in providing anesthesia for open heart, thoracic, vascular, and structural heart cases, as well as assisting with general OR procedures. The physician will work Monday through Friday for 8-10 hour days, with exact hours to be determined. This position also involves unrestricted overnight and weekend call. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with a wide range of cardiac and general anesthesia procedures. This opportunity offers the chance to work in a dynamic surgical environment using the Epic electronic health record system, with ongoing coverage needed beyond the initial 50 days.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide anesthesia for open heart surgeries

• Manage anesthesia for thoracic procedures

• Administer anesthesia for vascular surgeries

• Handle anesthesia for structural heart cases

• Assist with general OR anesthesia as needed

• Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments

• Develop and implement anesthesia plans
