Job Description

We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a 7-day locum tenens assignment in North Dakota. This opportunity begins on Aug 20, 2025, involving 12-hour shifts from 10 AM to 10 PM, delivering standard emergency care in a Level 4 trauma center ER. The ideal candidate must be board certified in Emergency Medicine, hold a current ND license and DEA, and be proficient with Meditech EHR.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive emergency medical care in a Level 4 trauma center environment
  • Manage cases involving trauma, cardiac life support, and pediatric emergencies, among other acute conditions
  • Utilize Meditech EHR for documentation and management of patient information
  • Maintain compliance with all facility protocols and state regulations
  • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes


Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Emergency Medicine required
  • Must possess a clean malpractice and background history
  • Required certifications: ACLS, TNCC, PALS, BLS
  • License requirements: ND License, ND DEA
