Wellhart is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum tenens position at a hospital in Arkansas. This ongoing assignment offers 4-6 shifts per month, starting 08/04/2025. The facility is a Trauma Center with mid-high volume and low-mid acuity cases. The ideal candidate should be comfortable managing approximately 20 patients per day and performing all lifesaving procedures, including intubations, ventilation management, central lines, and arterial lines. This role provides an excellent opportunity for a skilled physician to contribute to a dynamic emergency department while enjoying the flexibility of locum work.

Responsibilities and Duties:
• Provide high-quality emergency medical care in a fast-paced environment
• Manage approximately 20 patients per day
• Perform lifesaving procedures including intubations, ventilation management, central lines, and arterial lines
• Utilize the Medhost electronic health record system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Adapt to varying levels of acuity and patient volume
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives as needed
Additional Information:
• Arkansas medical license required
• Experience in a trauma center setting preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
