Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide immediate assessment and treatment of emergent medical conditions in patients of all ages.
- Perform procedures including intubation, central line placement, and lumbar puncture.
- Interpret diagnostic tests including EKGs, X-rays, and laboratory results.
- Coordinate with medical staff to determine a comprehensive treatment plan.
- Maintain accurate records and document all patient interactions in Meditech EHR.
- Ensure compliance with all facility, state, and federal guidelines and laws.
Additional Information
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine required.
- Must hold a current Florida medical license.
- Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS.
- Strong ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
