Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive emergency medical care
  • Work within a Trauma center environment
  • Handle a broad spectrum of cases with a focus on acute trauma and emergency care
  • Manage initial patient assessments, stabilization, and diagnostic processes
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective patient treatment
  • Document care in the Meditech EHR system
  • Maintain high standards of care while managing multiple emergency cases


Additional Information

  • Required Board Certifications: Emergency Medicine
  • Must be Board Certified in ABEM or AOBEM
  • Other Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Must hold a valid Kentucky medical license
