Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician for a 30-day locum tenens assignment at a Multi-Specialty Clinic in North Dakota. Starting on 06/01/2025, this opportunity requires coverage for 12-hour shifts, with day shifts from 6a-6p and night shifts from 6p-6a. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with a wide range of emergency procedures, including intubations, chest tubes, central lines, critical care, procedural sedation, airway management, OB/GYN and deliveries, and adult and pediatric resuscitation. This position offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment using Meditech EHR, with a possibility for assignment extension.

Responsibilities and Duties:
• Provide emergency medical care to patients of all ages and conditions
• Perform various emergency procedures, including intubations, chest tubes, and central lines
• Manage critical care cases and conduct procedural sedation when necessary
• Handle OB/GYN emergencies, including deliveries
• Conduct adult and pediatric resuscitations as needed
• Collaborate with mid-level providers and other healthcare team members
• Utilize Meditech EHR for patient documentation and care management
• Adapt quickly to the facility's protocols and procedures
• Ensure high-quality patient care and maintain patient safety standards
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Additional Information:
• Must be licensed to practice in North Dakota
• Board certification in Emergency Medicine preferred
• Experience in a wide range of emergency procedures is essential
• Flexibility to work both day and night shifts as needed
• Ability to start on short notice and commit to the full assignment duration
