Wellhart is seeking a Physician specializing in Emergency Medicine for a locum tenens position at a Multi-Specialty Clinic in Ohio. This 25-day assignment begins on 06/02/2025, with varied shifts including 7am-7pm, 11am-11pm, and 7pm-7am. The facility works closely with an internal transfer team. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with Epic EMR and possess a valid Ohio medical license. There is also a possibility of extending the assignment beyond the initial period.

Job Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Provide emergency medical care to patients in a high-volume ED 

• Manage and treat a diverse range of emergency conditions 

• Perform rapid assessments and diagnoses 

• Initiate appropriate treatments and interventions 

• Coordinate patient transfers when necessary 

• Collaborate with the internal transfer team and other departments 

• Utilize Epic EMR for patient records and management 

• Adapt to varied shift schedules as needed 

• Maintain clear communication with patients, families, and staff 

• Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and procedures 

• Contribute to maintaining efficient patient flow in the ED
