We are seeking a board-certified Emergency Medicine Physician for a 12-day locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania. This opportunity involves providing coverage at two locations. The physician will work various shifts at one location, ranging from 6 AM to 7 AM the next day, in 10-hour increments. At another location, 12-hour shifts (7 AM to 7 PM or 7 PM to 7 AM) are required. The assignment begins on 09/08/2025 and involves working in a Trauma center. The ideal candidate should be comfortable treating patients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric, and managing a wide range of acute to emergent/trauma cases. Procedures include intubations, chest tubes, central lines, joint and fracture reductions, joint aspirations, laceration repair, and incision and drainage, among others.

Responsibilities and Duties:
• Provide emergency medical care to patients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric
• Manage a diverse range of cases, from acute to emergent and trauma
• Perform various procedures including intubations, chest tubes, central lines, joint and fracture reductions, joint aspirations, laceration repair, and incision and drainage
• Work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care
• Utilize Cerner EMR system efficiently
• Adapt to different shift schedules as needed
• Maintain compliance with all hospital policies and procedures
Additional Information:
• Must be licensed to practice in Pennsylvania
• Board certification in Emergency Medicine required
• Experience in a Trauma center preferred
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR system is beneficial
