This 18-day assignment starts on 06/09/2025, and involves various shift lengths including 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a Critical Access Hospital with a non-designated trauma level, managing both high volume/low acuity and low volume/high acuity cases. The physician will be responsible for providing high-quality emergency care, performing intubations, ventilation management, and line placements. This role also requires adaptability to work in a rural setting, and collaborating with other staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:
• Provide emergency medical care to patients of all ages and acuity levels
• Perform basic ER procedures, intubations, and ventilation management
• Place lines in the absence of specialists
• Conduct patient assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Develop and implement treatment plans
• Collaborate with other physicians, APPs, and nursing staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Manage both high volume/low acuity and low volume/high acuity cases
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
• Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives as required
