We are seeking a licensed Family Practice Physician for a 248-day locum tenens assignment at a healthcare facility in Oklahoma. Starting 06/30/2025, this role requires expertise in primary care, including management of chronic and acute illnesses, as well as urgent care cases. The physician will work Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm, excluding federal holidays. Key responsibilities include seeing at least 20 patients per day, diagnosing and treating a variety of conditions ranging from respiratory illnesses to minor injuries, and utilizing the RPMS electronic medical record system. Responsibilities and Duties:
• Examine, diagnose, and treat at least 20 patients per 8-hour workday
• Manage primary care cases, including chronic and acute illnesses
• Handle urgent care cases, minor injuries, and illnesses
• Treat conditions such as COVID-19, cold, flu, and respiratory illnesses
• Manage minor wounds, fractures, bruises, and concussions
• Utilize RPMS electronic medical record system for documentation
• Complete all required administrative paperwork within 24 hours of patient visits
• Offer consultation to the Hospital Emergency Department as needed
• Staff urgent care clinic when required
• Participate in chart reviews, risk management reviews, and peer reviews
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
• Ensure compliance with administrative policies and procedures
